The National Day of Prayer Committee, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, National Reconciliation, and Ecclesiastical Affairs is pleased to announce that the National Day of Prayer will be observed here on Monday 2nd October, 2107 under the theme ‘Arise and go to the Father’.

The main objectives of the day is to bring the nation together in prayer with a number of activities including:

  • Interactive/ On air Prayers (via Radio)
  • Workplace Devotions
  • Schools Devotions
  • Individual prayers at Heritage Square
  • Facebook live prayer sessions
  • Social Media ‘Post a Prayer’

These activities will culminate with a National Prayer Rally at Heritage Square 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

We are urging the public to actively participate in this important event and take the opportunity to pray for our nation as well as our neighbours who were affected by Hurricane Irma an Maria.

This is the tenth year the day is being observed in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
